Members must submit a Reunion Site Reservation Form and payment between February 1st to June 1st to reserve a campsite for the annual reunion in September. All applicants must also possess active HCVVO Membership through July of that year.

Other Requirements:

• HCVVO officials will return combined checks for membership and  reunion site. Checks must be made out separately for approval.
• Lot record names must match the name on the payment method. Acceptable payment methods include credit cards, personal checks, cashier’s checks, and money orders.
• Storage fee delinquencies can result in reunion site reservation denial or revocation.
• Campers that are being stored, MUST move off the reunion site and park in the West parking lot by the first of October.

urrently there are two new electric battery plants being built in northern Howard County. One, a 3.2 billion dollar investment; and the other, a 2.5 billion dollar investment; providing Howard County an estimated 4,200 new jobs.

During our recent visit of the 10 motels in Kokomo we found most of them are currently “FULL” with the influx of workers starting their new jobs. We were told that by the end of April there will be more workers descending on the Kokomo and many surrounding areas as the plants will be finished. Currently, many of the workers are sleeping in their cars at the plant due to minimal housing choices to include motels and apartments.

This may mean that if you are staying at a motel during the reunion, September 18 thru September 22, PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS NOW, OR YOU MAY OR MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FIND ROOM AFTER  APRIL.

Eight of the ten motels listed offer a 10% Veteran discount, Courtyard, Days Inn, Motel 6, Best Western, Baymont, Super 8, LaQuinta & Holiday Inn Express, some charge for pets, but service animals stay free, you need to ask for discounts and pets when making your reservations. Block reservations can be made if you choose to come with others. You will need to make those plans with the hotel we are unable to accommodate that. Hampton Inn gives a 10% discount to active military and Comfort Inn is under new management and was unable to provide information about Military rates. All rates are due to fluctuate according to occupancy, so no rates will be posted here. We have three new motels with scheduled openings in April, Fairfield, H1 & H2.
